Original version of Luke Addison’s horror portrait

I thought it would be interesting to show you the original photograph and the finished piece of Gothic jewellery in one post.

Take for instance the portrait of Luke who’s soul revealed him to be a vampire.

The hardest thing for me to do when taking horror portraits is to get the model to pose as this is the be all and end all of the portrait session.

Personally, this is one of my best horror portrait conversions that I’ve ever done, especially when I wasn’t too happy with the original shot.  A bit of tweaking with light levels and different layers, I finished up with the true monster that had remained hidden deep within until now.
